About the Project
Donovan & Rainie is a law firm based in Baltimore, MD. Their site was ancient. Like 2003, ancient. It was finally time for a makeover. We needed a fully responsive, minimalistic way to display their content and describe their firm, while showing their “Baltimore flare.” Originally I played with huge home page images, and text stacked on top of it. The problem was their “above-the-fold” real estate was eaten up by pictures, and it was hard for visitors to find what they were looking for.
Now, a rotating image gallery sits on the left hand side of intro text that allows visitors to get a clear, concise overview of the firm and find everything they’re looking for with relative ease. They have complete control over all content, and don’t have to worry if their site will display elegantly on tablets and phones.
