About the Project
Spark Prep is a company that helps high school students, or anyone applying to higher education, write admission essays. They also do tutoring and copywriting.
They had a pretty plain website before. It was mostly text based, with no logo, and almost zero color. Already being on the WordPress platform made moving their content over a breeze, but we still had to spruce it up a little. Since there isn’t much content, the way it’s displayed is very vital to the usability of the site.
I started with a blank slate (a theme called Canvas) and customized every last pixel of it for Spark Prep. They now have a brand new color scheme, more readability, better SEO, a better outlet for blogging, and a cleaner backend.
