About the Project
Here it is, folks… my first non-profit! Gigs4Good came to me looking to totally revamp their web presence (having only a static landing page). We got them set up with a fully customized WordPress theme, running an ecommerce store.
Gigs4Good empowers others to bring out the best in themselves. Having started by turning in soda cans (enough for $900!), they sent a woman to Haiti to help with rebuilding after storms damaged their country. What’s even more: all the founders are in college.
I knew I had to get involved. They wanted a place to sell some apparel, as well as an outlet for people to formally donate (they’re a 501c3, so everything is tax deductible) so they could continue to raise money and spread awareness for their cause.
They’re currently accepting applications for all different kinds of mission trips!
