About Level Up Digital Media

Level Up Digital Media is a media company based in Tallahassee, Florida. They specialize in videography and documentaries (among many other services).

Initially, Level Up had a Squarespace website that was pretty bare bones. They used a pre-made theme, and added some basic info about their company.

But, they just finished a new documentary about Oysters, and needed a new website to go along with it.

I built them an entirely custom WordPress theme using the new Gutenberg editor. Their site now loads extremely fast, is easy to maintain, and lets visitors learn a lot more about their company.

The theme leverages ACF blocks, and is pretty minimal from a WordPress point of view. We keep it simple intentionally so they can easily add and update content, and let the design really shine.

Level Up Digital Media is a 10-time Emmy Award winner, and now they finally have a website that looks like it!
