About Marine Park Alliance

I designed and developed a new website for the Marine Park Alliance, a nonprofit that manages and advocates for Marine Park in New York City. The project involved a complete overhaul of their backend to ensure the site is modern, maintainable, and easy for staff and volunteers to use.

Built on WordPress, the site now features a streamlined content management system that empowers the team to update pages, publish news, and showcase community initiatives without technical barriers. I also integrated Mailchimp for seamless email marketing and developed a custom events system that allows the organization to easily add and promote upcoming programs and activities.

The result is a professional, user-friendly website that strengthens Marine Park Alliance’s digital presence, helps them engage the local community, and supports their mission of preserving and enhancing one of NYC’s largest public parks.
